Each fixture contains a feed which can be loaded directly into the RDT betting software to provide you with the relevant meeting, scheduled races and runners. This service is designed to save clients time, as the need to create these fixtures manually is no longer necessary. Under contract to all British racecourses, RBC is responsible for the administration of racecourse bookmakers and the conduct of on-course betting.

RBC is represented at all race meetings by its Betting Ring Managers who, amongst other duties, carry out the allocation of pitches to on-course bookmakers and help to settle disputes between the bookmakers and their customers. Centrally, RBC has a small office located in Huddersfield which deals with the authorisation of bookmakers and their employees, the maintenance and updating of the bookmakers’ lists, list position transfers, late pay, finance and policy.

Betdaq operates one of the world’s largest online betting exchanges, which is integrated into the RDT software, used by on-course bookmakers.

As a betting exchange operator, Betdaq allows people with different opinions to bet on the likely outcome of an event. The exchange differs from standard sports betting as people bet against each other rather than against a bookmaker. As well as a betting exchange, Betdaq also offers sports betting and an online casino. Betdaq features markets on a range of international sporting events such as horse racing, football, greyhounds, tennis, golf and much more.

The BHA is responsible for the governance, administration and regulation of horse racing and the wider horse racing industry in Britain.

The BHA aims to keep the sport fair and clean whilst delivering competitive and compelling racing. They also look to grow the sport and secure long-term, sustainable funding whilst prioritising the health and welfare of the sport’s horses and people. Amongst many other responsibilities, the BHA manages the fixture list and all race programmes. They provide a variety of useful updates, via their website, these include racecourse inspections, non-runners and much more.
